Becoming a Music Teacher

This course is designed for instrumentalists and vocalists who are starting their teaching careers. This course is designed to take 18 hours to complete.
Whether you have two or forty pupils, this course will give you the confidence, expertise and knowledge to become a successful teacher. The course involves 18 hours of study in the form of online discussions, reading, analysing films, creating and using resources and reflecting on your individual situation and skills.
You will gain a thorough overview of the role and responsibilities of being a music teacher. You will hear how other teachers have used their passion for music as inspiration for their teaching identity, develop your communication skills, prepare for every learner as an individual, learn how to maintain high levels of wellbeing throughout your career, and gain the tools you need to succeed in your teaching. This course is £35 plus VAT where applicable. You can either buy one place for yourself, by adding the course to your basket, or you can buy multiple places on the course for others.
