This course is for Primary School teachers who want to develop their musical skills for use in the classroom. By the end of the course, you will have developed a strong understanding of pulse and rhythm, feel more confident using your voice in the classroom, and have designed your own strategies for teaching music. There is the opportunity for you to engage with other teachers, sharing expertise and resources with those from around the world. The modules are presented in a variety of ways, including films, podcasts, articles, presentations and quizzes. This course is £35 plus VAT where applicable.

By the end of the course, you will 

  • Develop a strong sense of pulse and rhythm with the tools you need to teach these skills to others 
  • Improve the use of your voice in the classroom, with increasing confidence across a growing range of intervals 
  • Design your own strategies for teaching music notation in the classroom 
  • Recognise and identify the relationship between musical concepts and progression in music learning 
  • Engage with other teachers around the world to share expertise and resources
