Unlock the power of music in your school!
Build on your Classroom Teacher to Music Lead: Level 1 training with our intermediate workshop! This workshop dives deeper into leading music in schools by enhancing teachers’ knowledge of pitch and composition. You’ll also explore strategies for supporting pupils with SEN and creating inclusive instrument-based activities. Additionally, you’ll be taking your first steps in developing and refining your Music Development Plan. Elevate your skills, to lead your subject effectively, and continue to inspire children through innovative and inclusive music education practices. This course is ideal for those who have participated in our Level 1 workshop or have equivalent appropriate experience.
Delivered by ABRSM Voices Consultant Jenny Trattles, this day is packed with practical activities, innovative strategies, and invaluable insights to help you make music a vibrant and integral part of your school life.
Plus, this training is CPD-accredited by CPDUK, enabling you to evidence your CPD.
Previous delegates have said:
"Amazing training, so many ideas I can use straight away in my classroom and hopefully in some CPD to improve music subject knowledge and confidence across the school. Jenny is brilliant at modelling how different games and activities would actually look, feel and work in the classroom, and at showing how much learning could come from a simple, engaging activity. Really supportive atmosphere and lots of opportunity to talk, share and get ideas from each other."
"Jenny made the training so accessible as someone who is not a music specialist. Great practical ideas."
"Jenny led with enthusiasm, joy and clarity. Excellent leadership skills whilst embracing all levels of ability within the group."
