Why did you choose this option? I chose this because Autumn is relaxing and calm and I like calm and relaxing music
What is the idea in the task? I think the idea is: A new season has begun, the beauty of Autumns colours. How would you describe the idea in the task? I think that the idea is to describe the events to look forward to and the events that are already happening. What challenges might this idea bring when creating your music? The effects and the tiny details. What musical elements will help to show the idea? Pinao, guitar, a plucking noise to act as leaves falling on the ground. How will the music begin and end? At the start I want it to feel like summers coming to an end and at the end anew season has begun. How well does your music express the idea? I'd say that it was quite good and it displayed the coziness of Autumn well. What do you think worked well in your music? And less well? I think the guitar made the cosy feeling show but I think that the plucking effect didn't really go that well

Task 2: Inspire

For this task, Genevieve has chosen short loops and two or more notes sounding together from the Creative Toolkit to include in their piece.

Why did you choose this idea? I chose this because I love dancing and you can so it anywhere, any time. What inspired you? I dance without a club which makes me calm and relaxed. How would you describe the idea? Gentle, calming, light like spinning. Also fading, a chiming effect. What challenges might this idea bring when creating your music? Making it fade at the start and end, while doing it lightly. What musical elements will help to show the idea? Flute music and piano. Allegretto, slow and calming like a ballerinaHow will the music begin and end? It will end and start by fading then starting the melody until fading at the end, like the end of a dancing show. Does your music sound the way you imagined it would? Why or why not? I think that it did quite well and it was actually better than I expected. What do you think worked well in your music? And less well? I think that the drum beat was abit more pop, but the piano was really good
