Would ABRSM accept scores from SheetMusicDirect?

Would ARBSM accept legal scores purchased from SheetMusicDirect. They pay all required royalties to composers, artists and arranger. You get  a score you can print with a watermark and details on when it was bought.

Some of the  exam pieces are getting hard to find in print form and to be able to buy scores cheaply and conveniently would be  of great help to teachers in the colonies.

Hi Neil, Over the past 10 years there has been a significant rise in the number of candidates choosing to play from legally obtained digital copies during their exams, rather than physical copies. This is now widely acknowledged and accepted by our examiners.
Our qualification specifications all contain information on editions that can be used in an exam – and there is a clear statement confirming that digital downloads are permitted.
Unfortunately we’re not able to approve individual copies or websites – however providing the piece and the edition are out of copyright, digital copies are permitted in the exam room.
