The Traditional Klezmer piece Varshaver Freylechs features on the Grade 4 Clarinet Syllabus from 2026.

Anton Clarke-Butler is a Clarinet teacher at the Junior Royal College of Music, and regularly plays with BBC NOW, ETA and Chineke! Anton is also Head of Woodwind at Warwick School and was previously the Deputy Programme Director at Nucleo, a 'music for social action' programme in London that provides children and young people with orchestral and instrumental lessons free of charge.
