Sarah Watt's Trio for Saxophone, Blue Train

A trio for teacher and 2 pupils, Blue Train is a piece from our Music Medals repertoire lists.

It features two lines for Bronze level, and a Silver teacher part that could be played by you or perhaps by one of your intermediate pupils. At 16 bars long, this was originally written for Saxophone, but could be adapted for other instrumental groups. Perhaps it could be used as some sight-reading practice, or to bring together pupils, like George Sandford suggests in Becoming a Music Teacher to find performance and ensemble opportunities.
