Pat Metheny's piece Missouri Uncompromised features on the Grade 8 Jazz Horns Syllabus. Tori Freestone is a Ivor Novello Award winning British saxophonist, flautist, violinist and composer who performs at the forefront of the UK improvised music scene as a highly regarded bandleader. In this film, Tori shares her approach to teaching this piece.

Please remember that if the head goes out of range for the instrument, candidates may adapt the range to make it playable, for example by transposing passages up or down an octave; however, the tunes must still be performed in the key specified in the qualification specification.
